THE PODINI FOUNDATION PURCHASED A MACHINERY FOR MECHANICAL VENTILATION
16.03.2020 – Let’s stay united: that’s the motto that is unifying the whole population in the fight against Coronavirus. A unity of spirit but also of concrete actions, where everyone’s initiatives and behaviors can make a difference.
“Everyone is called to do their part in this dramatic moment that calls for collective responsibility. That’s why the Podini Foundation has decided to contribute” declares Giovanni Podini. After consulting the leaders of the Province and ASL to understand what was mostly needed, the Foundation has decided to purchase a machine for mechanical ventilation and monitoring of patients admitted to intensive care. An investment of approximately 130 thousand euros aimed at supporting the community in this moment of great emergency.
The Podini Foundation thus once again confirms its support for its local area, providing concrete help in tackling the problems that arise.
We also take this opportunity to inform you that, given the particular moment, the Podini Foundation Onlus, in agreement with the Malta Help.bz and Volontarius associations, has decided to suspend the free shuttle service in the Bolzano cemetery until 5th April 2020 included. “We are sure of your understanding and we hope to be active again as soon as possible to help the many people who regularly come to take advantage of our service every weekend.”
PODINI FOUNDATION ONLUS
The private foundation of the Podini family was founded in 2010 by the three brothers Giovanni, Alessandro and Stefano to carry out the humanitarian projects that have partly initiated the parents Giancarlo and Isabella. First in India, then the interventions moved to Eritrea, Cambodia and South Tyrol. Particular attention is paid to our territory: thanks to the collaboration with local associations, the Podini Foundation wants to respond concretely to the many problems that our region also suffers from.
