Elaborated by the Podini Foundation Onlus and brought to life with the help of the municipality of Bolzano, and the two associations Malta Help.bz and Volontarius, the initiative is thought for people with disabilities, the elderly and people with serious walking disabilities, who still want to visit their loved one’s graves.
In order to offer this service, the Foundation purchased an electric golf car – zero emissions – which can carry up to 5 people. The car will be equipped with folding chairs, to guarantee a comfortable sitting opportunity during the visit of the loved ones.
There will be two volunteers on site during the service hours: one driver, who will accompany the visitors to the graves, and will either wait there, or come back to pick them up at a scheduled time. The other volunteer will be waiting at the entrance.
The shuttle service leaves at the main entrance; SATURDAY and SUNDAY.
